Construction Management Services - New Single Sheet Ice Arena

Description

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Construction Management as Advisor (“CMa”) Services for all aspects of construction of a new single sheet ice arena located at 7800 Laurel Bowie Road, Bowie, Maryland, 20715. 

Proposals must be accompanied by a brief transmittal letter, signed by an officer of the company authorized to bind the Offeror to their Proposal, with all required documents, including Affidavits (Equal Opportunity Employer & Drug Free Workplace Certification and Affidavit of Public Contracting Eligibility), attached.

Interested Offerors are encouraged to attend the Pre-Proposal Meeting, which will be held virtually on November 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.    

All questions and requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Proposals shall be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4344_Construction_Management_Services___New_Single_Sheet_Ice_Arena.   The deadline for inquiries is 11:00 a.m. on November 15, 2024.  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than November 22, 2024, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and solicitation documents.

Proposals shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4344_Construction_Management_Services___New_Single_Sheet_Ice_Arena

Proposals shall be accepted until 11:00 a.m. on ­­­­­December 6, 2024.  Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents.  Proposals will be publicly acknowledged via a virtual meeting.  A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this RFP.  All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this Request for Proposals must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.  All proposals must be signed in BLUE ink by the offeror, with signature in full.  When a firm submits a proposal, the agent who signs the firm name shall, in addition, state the names and addresses of the individuals comprising the firm.

Prospective offerors that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.

The City reserves the right to reject any Proposal, in whole or in part, for any reason that the City deems to be in its best interests. 

Neither the City nor its representatives shall be liable for any expenses incurred by anyone in connection with the preparation of a response to this RFP.
