Description
The University of Maryland Global Campus ("UMGC") is soliciting proposals from staffing firms specializing in Event and Temporary Staffing for Commencement Services. Proposers should have experience in placing similar staff in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. A local office/branch is highly preferred to provide the level of customer service expected by UMGC. Commencement Services may also have a need for administrative staff in the role of a Commencement Representative. This Solicitation does not include staffing needs for professional Information Technology or professional Marketing/Creative positions. UMGC is located in Adelphi, Maryland.
This RFP is designated as a Small Business Reserve procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business (CSB) Offerors. Only Offerors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 – 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and that are certified by the State of Maryland as a CSB are eligible for award of a contract. Offerors must hold a current CSB certification and submit proof of such certification in order to be eligible to receive the award. Additional information is provided in Appendix R.
Technical Proposals are due no later than 11:00 AM ET on March 16, 2026. Please read the directions carefully for electronic submissions to Bid Locker. Firms must be registered to Bid Locker prior to uploading Proposals.
