Description

Consultant IT services to provide the Records Department IT staff with IT technical systems and network administration support as needed. Work includes assisting with daily management, upkeep and configuration of computer systems. Work includes installing and managing desktop and laptop computers, servers, networks, IT security systems and other critical components of the Records Department's IT infrastructure. Consultant IT services to assist the IT Unit as needed with installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), internet systems. Assist with network administration tasks such as performing updates and maintenance on network and IT systems. Work to include ensuring data security and assisting with data backup The Records Department is also responsible for managing records through various stages of their lifecycle. Various records are stored off-site. To accomplish this, the department uses a package specifically targeted for this type of work. Data about record groups and series is captured and used to manage the stored records through their respective stages through to disposal. The Records Department is seeking proposals for services to maintain the system. The Department is seeking a company with related expertise and appropriate financial capacity.
