Description
As part of the City of Philadelphia’s Rebuild Initiative, the Fairmount Park Conservancy (FPC) seek qualifications from experienced and creative design teams to plan, design, and oversee major renovations for the Johnny Sample Recreation Center located at 280 Cobbs Creek Parkway and the Cobbs Creek Environmental Center located at 700 Cobbs Creek Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19143. FPC aims to transform our shared civic assets, like recreation centers and parks, to foster engagement, equity, environmental sustainability and economic development in our cities. It is balanced with a flexible and anticipatory response to changing demographics and recreational patterns that drive a need for expanded amenities, programming and concessions that serve Cobb Creek’s diverse and dynamic community.
