Description
Metro is requesting proposals for Services to Support the bi-state Columbia Connects initiative for the Planning Department. The selected Consultant team will work with Metro staff to support the Columbia Connects Project. The Columbia Connects initiative seeks to prepare the region and its communities for a set of major interstate and transit investments on I-5 and I-205, leverage them in support of desired economic outcomes, and ensure that other existing and proposed land, air, and marine transportation assets and improvements are coordinated effectively. Consultant work components include research and write up of conditions and needs, examining and making recommendations on how to employ new structures or systems for bi-state decision-making and coordination drawn from best practices in other areas, conducting site-level project and development opportunity assessments, and providing additional recommendations to staff regarding the development of shared values, strategy and action planAttachments
