ITB 4515 Fleet Auto Body Collision & Repair Services

Description

Metro is seeking bids to provide auto body collision and repair services to Metro fleet vehicles. Vendor shall provide auto body collision and repair services of Metro’s vehicles as needed. Vehicles damage may be from a collision, vandalism, or impact. 

Bodywork and Painting:

Service Provider must perform all body and paint repairs to OEM and or I-Car standards

Parts:

All parts used to provide body repair must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent.  All Incidentals, materials, shop supplies and charges shall be included in total cost of repair.

All airbag components must be replaced with new OEM parts only.

 Frame Work and Alignment:

Service Provider shall agree to perform frame straightening and realignments of all vehicles when needed. Service Provider personnel or sub-contractor must be certified to perform such work.

All Auto Body Collision and Repair repairs must be authorized and if applicable have a risk claim number before the repairs begin.

 Pickup and delivery of Metro Fleet

Vendors shall provide pick up and drop off service for all vehicles to and from all Metro sites when Metro requests protocol required for pickup and delivery of vehicles and shall follow all site-specific safety and check-in requirements while on Metro sites.
