Description
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is inviting bids for EV Charging Station Installation and Electrical Upgrade for the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). Installation of six (6) owner-furnished/contractor-installed wall-mounted dual-head electric vehicle charging stations per drawings in the ITB.
Pre-Bid Meeting
A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. 17 NE 1st Ave, Portland, OR. 97232, inside the OCC’s Parking Garage Level 2. Attendees meet in the OCC Parking Garage Level 2 at the current EV charging station location near the parking booth. Entry to the parking garage is on NE 1st Ave (Google Maps Link), and a map of the pre-bid meeting location can be found in Attachment C.

Special Instructions
Registration for the pre-bid walkthrough is not required, but interested proposers who RSVP through BidLocker will be sent a pre-paid parking pass. RSVP is not required for pre-bid meeting attendance, however no parking pass will be provided without RSVP through BidLocker.

Pre-Bid Meeting

Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.
