Description

Lane County Waste Management is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to design and develop a comprehensive education and outreach campaign aimed at increasing public awareness of and participation in regional battery recycling services. These services are provided by Lane County and its regional partner agencies.


The selected vendor will help elevate Lane County’s battery recycling program through a future-focused digital strategy, dynamic outreach materials, and culturally inclusive content that reflects best practices for battery identification, safety, storage, recycling services, and accessibility and engagement.

About Lane County

Lane County is one of the largest counties in Oregon, stretching from the peaks of the Cascade Mountain range to the beaches on the Oregon coast.  As of the 2020 census the population was over 380,000, making it the fourth-most populous county in Oregon.  Most County facilities are located within the Eugene-Springfield Metro area.

About Lane County Procurement

Lane County is comprised of twelve departments that each process contracts and make purchases per Contract Policies approved by the Lane County Board of Commissioners.  These policies can be found in the Lane Manual Chapter 20.  Oversight is provided by the Procurement Office and County Counsel.
