Description
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is requesting proposals for On-Call Third-Party Security, Crowd Management and Staffing for the Oregon Convention Center, Portland’5 Center for the Arts and Expo Center.
Special Instructions
For March 13 meeting only - Interested proposers who RSVP through BidLocker will be sent a pre-paid parking pass. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd, Portland, OR 97232 on March 13, 2025, at 8:30 am. Please meet in the main entrance (MLK Lobby), at the intersection of MLK Blvd and Oregon Street. Interested proposers who RSVP through BidLocker will be sent a pre-paid parking pass. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
Additional site walk-through opportunities. Expo and Portland’5 will be made available for potential proposers to walk through and see the venues spaces where the work on these contracts will be occurring. These opportunities are for walk-through only, staff at the sites will not answer questions pertaining to the RFP or scope of work. Questions should be directed to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov.
