Description
Metro seeks to establish a list of on-call contractors with a qualified communications firms to provide crisis communication services. The selected firms will be available to assist Metro in effectively managing and responding to crises, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information to the public and stakeholders.
Objectives
The primary objectives of this contract are to:
· Provide immediate, expert crisis communication support in times of incidents, emergencies or significant events.
· Develop and implement strategic communication plans tailored to specific crises or departments.
· Ensure consistent, transparent, and accurate messaging across all channels.
· Maintain public trust and protect the reputation of Metro.
Special Instructions
Proposal Writing Coaching
For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested COBID firms. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30 – 60 minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on January 29, 2025 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held on Zoom on January 16th 2025 at 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific standard time). Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements
