Description
The Parks and Grounds Annex Property, located at 18511 Central Avenue, Bowie, MD 20716, is the offsite storage location for large seasonal equipment and materials. The City of Bowie is seeking proposals for comprehensive design and construction services from qualified Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) fabricators/erectors to design, fabricate, and erect a pre-engineered building as described within this RFP.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled at the site on December 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. All offerors are encouraged to attend. Entry to the property is to be accessed from Central Avenue only, next to Ecoasis Garden Center. Do not access the property through the residential neighborhood.

Bowie, Maryland, is a city of 54,727 residents, acccording to the 2010 Census, located in Prince George's County, and convenient to Washington, DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore.
The city consists of approximately 18-square miles. There are more than 1,100 acres set aside as parks or as preserved open space, including over 22 miles of paths and trails, and 75 ball fields.
