Description
The intent of this RFQ is to solicit information from experienced firms to provide full-service printing and installation of exterior educational, informational and wayfinding signs – in some cases on existing poles or newly installed poles. The quote needs to include fully loaded costs that provide for materials related to installation like fasteners, brackets, blocking, steel, embedded plates and other structural and mounting hardware necessary for proper fabrication and installation of signs. While certain services may be provided by a subcontractor(s), responsibility will fall on the awarded Offeror to ensure that all project goals, objectives, and deliverables are met. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and providing all negotiated services and deliverables. All work shall comply with the laws, codes and applicable Lane County standards and requirements related to signage placement.
Lane County has already developed the final artwork for this project that will be replicated. All signs are formatted in Robato font and Gerber colors. Installed signage can be seen at the Glenwood and Florence Transfer Site located at 3100 E. 17th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97401 and 2820 N. Rhododendron Drive, Florence, OR 97439. Theses sites were piloted to evaluate sizing, readability and gauge customer experience; to be rolled out to remaining transfer sites in Lane County. Sizing, material, placement, artwork, etc. have all been determined for future sites.
To be considered, complete quotes must be emailed directly to angie.marzano@lanecountyor.gov by the due date and time.
