ITB 4371 MRC EV and Electrical Upgrades

Description

Metro, is inviting bids for MRC EV and Electrical Upgrades for the Metro Regional Center:

10 total owner-furnished/contractor-installed (ofci) wall-mounted dual-head electric vehicle charging stations.
• Blink 7 series (48-amp) with shared power configuration.
• Software installation and startup to be done by others.
Rough in for 16 future charging stations.
Separate metering needed for EV Electrical ouput (design to follow in an addendum).
Concrete cores will be needed
• Contractor coordinated / owner provided x-ray services
Penetrations in concrete
• to be resealed with firestopping by contractor
Dual fan coil units and heat pumps for existing mechanical room (per drawings & specs)
Removal of existing EV charging station (returned to owner)
New panel board (2F1)
New 225 KVA transformer

Pre-Bid Conference

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on October 10, 2024, at 11:00
a.m. at 600 NE Grand Ave. Portland, OR 97232 meet at main entrance off Grand. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity
Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who
attend the pre-bid conference.
