RFP 4321 Quality Assurance for Point of Sale Implementation

Description

Metro is replacing the point-of-sale system at its solid waste transfer stations.  The point of sale is responsible for more than just taking payments, as it also provides the data that feeds into the Solid Waste Information System (SWIS), a public repository of data across the entire solid waste system in the region. It is responsible for determining charges based on tonnage at the sites, and for the data that goes into monthly billing for commercial haulers, facilitated by Metro’s Finance and Regulatory Services department. This new Point of Sale has to interact with a high number of stakeholders, including the general public, so confidence must be high prior to implementation.

Because of the importance of this system Metro is requestion proposals for a quality assurance consultant.
