Description
The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids for audio-visual upgrades to its Emergency Operations Center Conference Room and the Chief of Police’s conference room at Bowie City Hall, 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, Maryland, to support the functionality of its Emergency Operations Center. The services sought include the maintenance and support of the audio-visual equipment installed. The project will be funded by a State of Maryland Capital Projects Grant and is subject to all the provisions of the Capital Projects Grant Agreement dated the 30th day of October 2019, by and between the State of Maryland and the City of Bowie, as well as all applicable State and local laws and regulations pertaining thereto. Accordingly, any contract awarded is subject to review and approval by the State of Maryland, Department of General Services prior to award by the City.
The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the Invitation for Bids.

About Bowie
Bowie, Maryland, is a city of 54,727 residents, acccording to the 2010 Census, located in Prince George's County, and convenient to Washington, DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore.
The city consists of approximately 18-square miles. There are more than 1,100 acres set aside as parks or as preserved open space, including over 22 miles of paths and trails, and 75 ball fields.
Bowie has a nonpartisan city government directed by a mayor and six council members. The City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of most months in sessions that are open to the public.
