Description
Through this Request for Proposals, Prosper Portland requests competitive proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide:
a.) preconstruction services in a Construction Manager/General Contractor capacity including but not limited to, assisting the design team in completing permit submittal documents, value engineering, project schedule, cost estimating and a GMP for the proposed scope of work for the renovation of the Inn at the Convention Center located at 420 NE Holladay St, Portland, Oregon; and,
b.) all construction services needed to complete the renovation of the ICC Hotel.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
The pre-proposal meeting and jobsite tour for this RFP will be held on the day and time listed in Section 1.3 of the RFP. Attendees must be present at 420 NE Holladay St, Portland, OR 97232 by not later than the designated date and time and remain in attendance until the conclusion of the meeting and tour. The RFP, the Project, and the Owner’s procurement process will be explained at the pre-proposal meeting. Proposers are encouraged to bring a copy of the RFP to the meeting as copies will not be provided. The Job Site Tour will follow the Pre-Proposal Meeting. This will be the only opportunity for proposers to tour the Project site.
Meeting and Tour attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions of the Owner’s program staff to help clarify this Project. Verbal comments given by the Owner’s staff during the Meeting and Tour that are not consistent with the terms of the RFP are not binding and will not serve to modify any portion of the RFP unless later confirmed in a written addendum to the RFP. Particularly detailed questions, or those that require additional consideration and research, be submitted in writing per Section 4.5 of the RFP.
