Description
Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and general contracting services in two phases: preconstruction phase services and construction phase services, and as described in the solicitation document. The Metro Central Transfer Station roof area is approximately 350,000 sq. ft. all built before 1990. The purpose of this project is to update current roof safety features by constructing means to safely access and perform work on the roof space using OSHA compliant fall prevention devices.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Metro Central Transfer Station located at 6161 NW 61st, Portland OR 97209 on March 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. Proposers should bring personal PPE, including hard hats, safety vests and close toed shoes.
