Description

Home Forward will accept electronically submitted bids through BidLocker at https://bidlocker.us/a/homeforward/BidLocker  until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023. The First Tier Subcontractor List, form HF-421, must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the same day. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for opening until after the lapse of sixty (60) days from the bid opening. Bidders will need to sign up for free on BidLocker to access the solicitation documents or submit a bid.

Hamilton West Apartments, located at 1212 SW Clay St., Portland, OR 97201 is a 9-story apartment building containing two (2) geared traction elevators that are to be modernized and updated to gearless traction transports and subsequently maintained. Bid documents are available at https://bidlocker.us/a/homeforward/BidLocker. Addenda will be posted on the same site.

A pre-bid tour will commence at Hamilton West Apartments on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at 10am. Questions posed during the tour that are not addressed in the Solicitation will be answered by addendum.

 

Home Forward has an established goal of 28% participation by Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) firms (possessing COBID or alternative certifications). Prime contractors who do not meet the 28% goal will be required to submit proof that good faith efforts have been made to contract with certified COBID subcontractors for work they do not intend to self-perform.

This project is subject to State of Oregon BOLI Prevailing Wage Requirements currently in effect on this date of advertisement, December 16, 2022.

Home Forward may reject any bid not in compliance with the prescribed bidding procedures and requirements, may reject any or all bids, and waive all informalities if doing so is determined by Home Forward to be in the public interest.
