Description
Metro is inviting bids to replace and relocate the transfer scale at Metro South Transfer Station located in Oregon City OR.
The existing transfer scale at the Metro South Transfer station is a 53 foot multi-platform scale. This scale is designed to weigh very large highway loads and also determine the loads on various axles to ensure that the loaded trailers meet the legal requirements for traveling on the highway. Scope includes the construction of a new scale pit, purchase and installation of a new scale, and the electrical infrastructure required to support the scale and the point of sale system.

A VOLUNTARY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on April 12, 2022 at 10:00 am at Metro South, located at 2001 Washington Street, Oregon City, Oregon 97045. Please park in the gravel parking lot south of the station.
