ITB 4402 OCC Orbit Cafe Remodel

Description

Metro is inviting bids for OCC Orbit Café Remodel.  This project consists of a modernization remodel of the OCC’s Orbit Café front-of-house (FOH) sales area, re-model of Orbit’s Exhibit Hall A facing signage and sales area, installation of a new back-of-house (BOH) walk-in freezer, and installation of new gas ovens and door in the middle-of-house area (MOH).

Additionally, application of new epoxy flooring throughout MOH and BOH areas and adjustments to existing fire suppression throughout the Orbit Café.

All areas of the Orbit café are operated by the OCC’s third party contactor, Levy Restaurants.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on November 5, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Oregon Convention Center’s main entry located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (Google Maps link).  Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.

Public Benefits Program Requirements Meeting

Metro will have a virtual meeting on November 13, 2024, at 9 A.M. to further describe Metro’s Public Benefit Programs and their requirements to proposers and to answer questions.  These programs are described in the “Metro’s Public Benefit Programs“ section of this ITB.  All potential bidders are encouraged to attend.
