RFP 4350 Nature in Neighborhoods Community Choice Grants

Description

Metro is requesting proposals for Nature in Neighborhoods Community Choice Grants for the Parks and Nature department. The purpose of the Nature in Neighborhoods Community Choice Grants contract is to support implementation of a participatory process including idea collection, project development, and community voting. The Nature in Neighborhoods Community Choice Grants program is requesting contractor support for the following:
1. Collect community led project ideas online and in community workshops.
2. Develop those ideas into conceptual illustrations with descriptions during community workshops and with jurisdictional staff for an initial community vote.
3. Further develop those ideas into conceptual site plans during community workshops and with jurisdictional staff for the final community vote.
4. Consult on and support a community engagement plan of community workshops, tabling events, and special events with community or BIPOC leaders.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on August 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82120114958. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
