ITB 4339 - Cascade Crest Cafe

Description

The work involves a tenant improvement to an existing Servery, a part of the existing Cascade Crest commercial kitchen, and the adjacent Dining Room.  The Servery provides food and beverage point of sale and limited food preparation.  The work will require finish upgrades including custom cabinetry and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. The Contractor will also work with the Owner to coordinate installation of Owner provided furnishings and equipment.

Pre-Bid Conference

Pre-Bid Meeting

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on July 17, at 8:30 a.m. at Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221.  Meet at the front entrance. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.

An optional second viewing of the work site is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on July 23, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. at the Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221. Meet at the front entrance.  No project details will be shared at this meeting.  Any questions will be responded to in a bid addendum following the meeting. Attendees will be recorded so that any COBID certified business that attend can be reached by Contractors who submit a bid.

Voluntary Public Benefits Program Requirements Meeting

Metro will have a virtual meeting on July 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. to further describe Metro’s Public Benefit Programs and their requirements to proposers and to answer questions.  These programs are described in the “Metro’s Public Benefit Programs” section of this ITB.  All potential bidders are encouraged to attend.
