Description
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is requesting proposals for Expo Future Community Engagement for the Office of the Chief Operating Officer.
The selected Consultant will work directly with the project’s advisory committee focused on advancing community engagement. The group will be represented by partners, communities most impacted by the site and supporting organizations. In addition, successful engagement will consider project objectives and seek opportunities to integrate both objectives into the storytelling and recommendations of the future campus.
Proposal Writing Coaching
For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested COBID firms. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30 – 60 minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on September 26, 2023 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.

Pre-Proposal Conference
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held via Zoom on September 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. Link for pre-proposal meeting is included in the RFP documents.
