RFP 4195 Expo Future Project Feasibility Study

Description

Following a Development Opportunity Study in 2019 and RFEI process in 2022 Metro Council and the Metropolitan Exposition and Recreation Commission (MERC) supported two recommendations of the Portland Expo Center's future use.  Metro is seeking proposals from qualified teams to provide a business, economic and market feasibility study to fulfill one of the objectives spelled out by the recommendations.  Full details can be found inside attached RFP documents.

Proposal Writing Coaching

For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested COBID firms. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice.  The coaching will be a 30 – 60-minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on June 15, 2023 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held via Zoom (link below) on June 13, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
