ITB 4066 RID Patrol Facility HVAC Improvements

Description

Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and mailed or delivered to, Metro, 600 NE Grand, Portland, Oregon 97232-2736, Attention: Kim Paul, ITB 4066. All bids must be received no later than the date and time indicated on the ITB cover page, and will be publicly opened and read at that time.  First Tier Subcontractor and Subcontractor Equity forms are due from all bidders within two (2) hours of the bid closing time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. A bid may not be submitted by facsimile (FAX) transmittal or electronically by email.

Contractor shall perform improvements on the HVAC systems at Metro’s Regional Illegal Dumping (RID) Patrol facility located at 1630 SE 8^th Avenue, Portland OR  97214.  Contractor will remove and replace HVAC units identified on the design and specifications included as Attachment “C” in the ITB to create a functional building HVAC system. Work will require removal, installation and consolidation of units.  This work will require re-ducting of some units, re-zoning of areas served by the new units, and coordination with the general contractor working at the same time and Metro’s project management personnel. Details can be found in the ITB.

Pre-Bid Conference

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on July 8th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the RID Patrol Facility located at 1630 SE 8^th Ave, Portland OR  97214.  Participants shall wear a mask while inside the building.  Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.
