RFP 4006 Large Repair and Maintenance at Transfer Stations

Description

Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide large repair and maintenance services including, but not limited to: complete structural repairs to reinforced concrete structures, heavy steel reinforcement, steel plating, steel structures and equipment placement and removal; provide emergency repairs that are potentially impeding operations be responded to within 48 hours; staffing to conduct work on a 24 hour shift basis as needed to keep operations underway at the two transfer stations and complete repairs quickly; and to remove and replace heavily reinforced concrete slabs in a caustic environment in potentially large areas.

The selected contractor is expected to comply with Metro's Clean Air Construction Standard and Construction Career Pathways Program (https://www.oregonmetro.gov/how-metro-works/contract-opportunities/doing-business-metro/large-construction-contracts)

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Metro Central Transfer Station at 6161 NW 61^st Ave Portland, OR 97210 on March 16, 2022 at 9:30 am. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
