Description
Bids due and Bid Closing Date and Time: 2:00 PM PST, March 6, 2025.
Oak Lodge Water Services is seeking quotes from qualified and experienced contractors able to provide cleaning services for the Zone 3 Storm System Cleaning Project.
The project generally consists of the removal and disposal of debris in 91 catch basins in Zone 3 at agreed upon cost per catch basin; cleaning 75 LF of adjoining storm lines at agreed upon cost per linear foot; and tracking and reporting on the cubic yards of debris removed per catch basin and from pipes overall.

Special Instructions
- Remove accumulated debris and sediment from identified assets and dispose in most cost effective environmentally responsible manner according to DEQ and applicable laws.
- Any traffic control should be considered in the proposed cost.
- Remove and dispose of debris in 91 catch basins in Zone 3 (see attached list).
- Clean all accumulated debris and sediment from 75 LF of storm pipe.
- Track and report on the cubic yards of debris removed per catch basin and total cubic yards from pipes.
- Work must be completed by May 15, 2025.
- Data Report must be submitted with final invoice by June 1, 2025.

| Will any of the catch basins being cleaned require flex hose to reach them? |

Answer:
It is possible that a flex hose may be needed in some uncommon situations, but unlikely. Most of the catch basins are standard and in or adjacent to the road right-of-way. They have standard grates or plates that can be removed for cleaning, and likely will NOT need a flex hose to reach the catch basin. |

Oak Lodge Water Services (OLWS) provides drinking water, wastewater, and watershed protection services to approximately 29,000 residents and businesses in Oak Grove, Jennings Lodge, and parts of Milwaukie and Gladstone.
Our system includes 208 miles of drinking water and wastewater pipes, 3,123 catch basins, and 773 fire hydrants. Additionally, we operate a wastewater treatment plant that processes over 1.5 billion gallons of wastewater each year.
