Description

In general, the Scope of Work includes Construct slurry seal (Type II) on Lane County roads and City of Springfield streets, apply crack seal (where indicated) and slurry seal (Type II) on Lane County and City of Springfield parking lots as indicated on Project Data Sheets. Perform additional and incidental work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.

Prevailing Wages

This solicitation is for a Public Works project which is subject to BOLI Prevailing Wages Laws (ORS 279C.800 - 279C.870).  All Offerors are required to consult the BOLI Prevailing Wage Rate publication dated January 5, 2025. Rates can be found on the BOLI website. Awarded contractors must meet the wage requirements for all covered workers on the project.

About Lane County

Lane County is one of the largest counties in Oregon, stretching from the peaks of the Cascade Mountain range to the beaches on the Oregon coast.  As of the 2020 census the population was over 380,000, making it the fourth-most populous county in Oregon.  Most County facilities are located within the Eugene-Springfield Metro area.

About Lane County Procurement

Lane County is comprised of twelve departments that each process contracts and make purchases per Contract Policies approved by the Lane County Board of Commissioners.  These policies can be found in the Lane Manual Chapter 20.  Oversight is provided by the Procurement Office and County Counsel.
