Description
The City of Bowie is seeking bids from qualified firms to renovate the Cart Barn at the Bowie Golf Club, located at 7420 Laurel Bowie Road in Bowie, Maryland.
The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the IFB.
All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Bowie Golf Club, located at 7420 Laurel Bowie Road, Bowie, MD, 20715.
All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this IFB are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5322_Siding_Roofing_Replacement___Bowie_Golf_Club_Cart_Barn, prior to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Monday, November 10, 2025, to all those who have expressed interest in this IFB through the Bid Locker platform.
Bids shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5322_Siding_Roofing_Replacement___Bowie_Golf_Club_Cart_Barn, prior to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting. A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this IFB. All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this IFB must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.
Prospective bidders that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.
Each bidder or prospective bidder must refer to the Bid Locker website for any available amendments, addenda, cancellations, and additional information regarding this IFB.

About Bowie
Bowie, Maryland, is a city of 54,727 residents, acccording to the 2010 Census, located in Prince George's County, and convenient to Washington, DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore.
The city consists of approximately 18-square miles. There are more than 1,100 acres set aside as parks or as preserved open space, including over 22 miles of paths and trails, and 75 ball fields.
Bowie has a nonpartisan city government directed by a mayor and six council members. The City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of most months in sessions that are open to the public.
