Description
The City of Bowie, Maryland requests proposals from qualified outdoor fitness equipment providers/contractors to furnish and install outdoor fitness equipment at Centennial Park located next to Bowie City Hall at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, Maryland.
The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Request For Proposals (RFP). By submission of a proposal, the offeror represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the Request for Proposals.
Interested proposers are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 9 AM at Centennial Park.
All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Proposals shall be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4043_Outdoor_Fitness_Equipment. Deadline for questions and/or clarifications is 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, August 21, 2024, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and solicitation documents.
Proposals shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4043_Outdoor_Fitness_Equipment, until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents. All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this Request for Proposals must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.
Prospective offerors that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.

About Bowie
Bowie, Maryland, is a city of 54,727 residents, acccording to the 2010 Census, located in Prince George's County, and convenient to Washington, DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore.
The city consists of approximately 18-square miles. There are more than 1,100 acres set aside as parks or as preserved open space, including over 22 miles of paths and trails, and 75 ball fields.
