Description
Oregon Zoo recently completed an update to the Campus Plan. As part of this effort an emphasis has been placed on climate resiliency and reducing emissions. This project has been programmed in support of the campus plan and the Zoo’s aspiration goal to eliminate gas use by 2040. The successful Contractor will work closely with Zoo Project Manager. It is imperative that both Guest experience and animal care be taken into consideration throughout all stages of site work.
Special Instructions
A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on February 25, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at the Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd., Portland, OR 97221. Meet at the front entrance. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.
A second viewing of the work site is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on March 4, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at the Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd., Portland, OR 97221. Meet at the front entrance. No project details will be shared at this meeting. Any questions will be responded to in a bid addendum following the meeting. Attendees will be recorded so that any COBID certified business that attend can be reached by Contractors who submit bids.
