Description
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is requesting proposals for Solid Waste and Recycling Collection for the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). Proposals will be due as indicated on the RFP cover page.
For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested COBID firms. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30–60 minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on February 8, 2024 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR on February 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Please meet at the main entrance inside the MLK Lobby (NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Oregon Street). Interested proposers are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
Registration for pre-proposal conference is not required but is respectfully requested/urged.
