Description
Metro is inviting proposals to operate Metro Central Transfer Station.
Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide operations service to public and private customers and create safe and efficient conditions. Proposers will champion teamwork between their staff, Metro staff, and the transport contractor (separate contract), to maximize solid waste and recycling commodities throughput and cooperation. Proposers will advance the public benefits through a detailed Scope of Work which is provided in the RFP.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Metro Central Transfer Station at 6161 NW 61st Ave Portland, OR 97210 on September 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. RSVP to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov.
All attendees shall wear PPE (hard hat, close-toed shoes, safety vest, safety glasses)
