The City of Hillsboro (“City”) seeks a highly qualified planning and technical services firm or team with experience in equity-based planning and development of comprehensive and actionable parks and recreation system plans. The City of Hillsboro is seeking to chart a new path for parks and recreation – one that: – more fully meets the needs and captures the dreams of our diverse community; – amplifies underserved and marginalized community members voices; – leads with the City’s Council’s equity goals and aligns with the community-driven Comprehensive Plan 2035 and 2035 Community Vision; – seamlessly integrates all parks and recreation services such as; capital, programming, maintenance, and operations, for the full complement of the Parks and Recreation Department’s portfolio; and – incorporates an implementation framework built for equitable decisions/prioritization, continual change, and financial sustainability.For Questions or Additional Information, Contact:

The City of Hillsboro has a decentralized purchasing function in which the City’s departments are generally responsible for their own procurement process.
