Description
The Yew Avenue Wastewater Lift Station Improvements Project consists of constructing upgrades to the City’s existing wastewater lift station to improve electrical reliability, provide standalone backup power, and support future operational and capacity needs. Work includes installing a new outdoor-rated control cabinet with updated pump controls and instrumentation, adding a new generator system with automatic transfer capability, and expanding the lift station site to accommodate the upgraded electrical equipment and improved access. Additional work includes minor mechanical and electrical improvements and complete site restoration. All improvements shall comply with current Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) wastewater pump station design standards and applicable electrical and safety codes.
The City estimates the cost of improvements at $450,000. All workmanship, materials, and conditions shall conform to applicable construction codes, specifications included on plans, any special provisions included in these documents, issued addendums, the General Conditions, Special Provisions, Redmond Standards & Specifications 2024 and any Supplementary Conditions.

An optional pre-Bid conference shall be held via Microsoft Teams call at 9:30AM on September 29, 2026, statements made by City representatives at the pre-Bid conference are not binding on the City unless confirmed in an addendum.

All work related to modification of the Project including, but not limited to, all demolition, excavation, lift station wetwell, piping, valves, fittings, control panel, electrical facilities, electrical service, hatches, vaults, concrete pads and surfaces, connections to existing sewers, temporary pumping, erosion control, surface restoration, lift station design, testing, startup, and all other work required to provide a complete, fully operational lift station shall be part of the lump sum bid provided by the Contractor.
