Description

To fulfill the mission of BHU, currently five Qualified Mental Health Professionals partner with uniformed police officers in patrol cars to provide mental health and/or risk assessments, crisis stabilization coordination, evaluation, and follow-up. The clinician and officer teams comprise the Behavioral Health Response Team (BHRTs) portion of the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).
