Description
Metro is requesting proposals for Transportation Services for Residential Organics for the Waste Prevention and Environmental Services Department. Proposals are due as indicated on the RFP cover page.
Metro may award contracts to multiple firms to provide residential organics transportation services and maximize routing efficiency. Metro does not guarantee any minimum number of loads. The resulting contract(s) will not grant any contractor exclusive rights to transport residential organic waste generated during the contract, including waste currently generated or generated in the future.

Pre-Proposal Site Visit Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Metro South Transfer Station (MSS), located at 2001 Washington St., Oregon City, OR 97045, on October 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Interested Proposers and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend the conference to view the site and learn more about the requirements of this RFP.
RSVP is required through BidLocker.
The pre-proposal conference will not be held if no RSVPs are received.
Attendees must wear a hard hat, high-visibility vest, and safety glasses while on site. The Metro facility is non-smoking.
