Description
The Oregon Convention Center and Metro are seeking proposals from qualified proposers for autonomous floor care equipment capable of performing routine floor cleaning in large public assembly facilities. The objective is to improve operational efficiency, support custodial staffing, enhance cleaning consistency, and provide operational data through autonomous cleaning technology.
While the current focus is on floor care equipment, Metro is seeking partners that offer other autonomous equipment including, but not limited to concierge and wayfinding, security, agriculture, and other sensor enabled, autonomous, or semi-autonomous equipment.
Metro venues and facilities that may also utilize awarded contracts include, but are not limited to the Oregon Convention Center, Portland Expo Center, Oregon Zoo, Metro Parks and Nature, and Metro Transfer Stations.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-preposal conference will be held on Zoom on August 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Interested proposers are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.
