RFP 4588 Solid Waste Transportation Fuel

Description

Metro is requesting proposals for Solid Waste Transportation Fuel for Metro Waste Prevention and Environmental Services (WPES). Proposals are due as indicated on the RFP cover page.

Metro intends to award a contract to a single firm to provide the required services. The anticipated term of the contract is June 2026 through December 2031, with the option for extensions of up to two additional years at Metro’s sole discretion.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held on Zoom on May 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interested Proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend to obtain information about the RFP requirements.

Bid Writing Coaching for Small Businesses

For this ITB, Metro offers free coaching for interested small businesses. Firms must state that they’re a small business owner. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30 – 60 minute session about how to respond to this ITB and understanding the ITB requirements. Any interested small firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on May 21, 2026 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.
