Bids Due and Bid Closing Date and Time: 2:00 PM PST, September 9, 2026.
Oak Lodge Water Services is seeking quotes from qualified and experienced contractors able to provide cleaning services for the Zone 5 Storm System Cleaning Project.
The project consists of the removal and disposal of debris in 129 catch basins and 1138 linear feet (LF) of pipe in Zone 5 at an agreed upon cost per catch basin and LF of pipe, and tracking and reporting on the cubic yards of debris removed per catch basin and debris removed per stretch of piping.

Special Instructions
- Any traffic control MUST be considered in the proposed cost.
- Remove and dispose of debris in 129 catch basins in Zone 5 (see attached list and map).
- Remove and dispose of debris in 1138 LF of pipe in Zone 5 (see attached list and map).
- GIS Zone 5 Cleaning Map of catch basins and pipe lengths.
- Remove accumulated debris and sediment from identified assets and dispose in most cost effective environmentally responsible manner according to DEQ and applicable laws.
- Track and REPORT on the cubic yards of debris removed per catch basin.
- Work, invoicing, and reporting must be completed by December 31, 2026.
- Data REPORT must be submitted with final invoice by December 31, 2026.

09/04/2026: The GIS map helped confirm that the lines to be jetted are 12” in diameter. Can you confirm how those lines are accessed for jetting? Are there manholes or other access points available along the system? |

Answer:
The pipes labeled for cleaning may be accessed through the closest upstream and downstream catch basins on the map that are also labeled for cleaning. |

Oak Lodge Water Services (OLWS) provides drinking water, wastewater, and watershed protection services to approximately 29,000 residents and businesses in Oak Grove, Jennings Lodge, and parts of Milwaukie and Gladstone.
Our system includes 208 miles of drinking water and wastewater pipes, 3,123 catch basins, and 773 fire hydrants. Additionally, we operate a wastewater treatment plant that processes over 1.5 billion gallons of wastewater each year.
