Construction Contracting with Public Agencies – Open House
Join Us!
Meet representatives from multiple local public agencies and learn how to find contracting opportunities, understand solicitation processes, and prepare for upcoming construction projects.
Event Information
• Who: General contractors, construction firms, subcontractors, engineering firms, architectural firms, and any organization interested in contracting for construction, remodeling, repair, or maintenance work for public agencies.
• When: Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00PM
• Where: 99 East Broadway (former Wells Fargo Bldg.) Enter through the south door.
• Parking: Available at the Hult Center, Parcade, and Overpark garages; limited on-street parking; and the surface lot at 829 Pearl Ave.
During this open house, you’ll have the opportunity to connect directly with multiple public agencies and learn about key topics related to local construction contracting—such as the benefits and challenges of Design-Build and CM/GC delivery methods, Community Benefit Agreements, bidder prequalification, and how to ensure you receive alerts for future contracting opportunities.

About Lane County
Lane County is one of the largest counties in Oregon, stretching from the peaks of the Cascade Mountain range to the beaches on the Oregon coast. About Lane County Procurement
Lane County is comprised of twelve departments that each process contracts and make purchases per Contract Policies approved by the Lane County Board of Commissioners. These policies can be found in the Lane Manual Chapter 20. Oversight is provided by the Procurement Office and County Counsel.
Formal solicitations such as Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Qualifications (RFQus), and Request for Quotes (RFQ) are conducted by departments on an as-needed basis. These requests for offers as well as public notices related to procurement will be posted on this site as applicable.
