LCFB is inviting proposals from professional security companies to provide comprehensive security services for the 2026 Lane County Fair.
Security Services Overview
LCFB requires a professional security company to manage all aspects of event security.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lane County Fair Security Management and Planning
• Manage Security Access and Control Systems
• Emergency Response and Crisis Management
• Scheduling and Oversite of Security Personnel
Important Service Dates
• Pre-Fair Control and Access: July 19-21, 2026
• Event Open to Public: July 22-26, 2026
• Post-Fair Control and Access: July 27, 2026

About Lane County
Lane County is one of the largest counties in Oregon, stretching from the peaks of the Cascade Mountain range to the beaches on the Oregon coast. As of 2023 census the population was over 380,000, making it the fourth-most populous county in Oregon. Most County facilities are located within the Eugene-Springfield Metro area.
About Lane County Procurement
Lane County is comprised of twelve departments that each process contracts and make purchases per Contract Policies approved by the Lane County Board of Commissioners. These policies can be found in the Lane Manual Chapter 20. Oversight is provided by the Procurement Office and County Counsel.
Formal solicitations such as Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Qualifications (RFQus), and Request for Quotes (RFQ) are conducted by departments on an as-needed basis. These requests for offers as well as public notices related to procurement will be posted on this site as applicable.
