Description

Beaverton Urban Redevelopment Agency (BURA) will only accept electronic bids for the project, Beaverton Central Parking Garage Retail Demising. The project consists of demising an approximately 6,800 square foot commercial space into five individual commercial spaces.

Pre-Bid Conference

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for this project will be held by conference call using Zoom on June 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM. https://www.zoomgov.com/j/16007575777

The virtual meeting will be followed by a non-mandatory on-site tour the following day, June 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM. If attending the tour, please meet staff outside the site (12695 SW Crescent St Beaverton, OR 97005) at the corner of SW Crescent St and SW Rose Biggi Ave. These meetings are to provide prospective Bidders with the opportunity to ask questions related to bidding or building the work under the resulting contract. Questions that cannot be addressed by direct reference to the Bid Documents may be answered through an addendum issued to all plan holders.

Questions
we are looking for clarification in regards to the finish schedule. The finish schedule on Page A6.11 states that SC is Sealed Concrete for floor finish but the specifications call for polish concrete. Can you confirm if they in fact are looking for sealed concrete or polished concrete? And if they are looking for sealed concrete I assume they want a grind and seal? And what type of sealer are they looking for?

Answer:

As stated in the Room Finish Schedule (Sheet A2.11 and again A8.01) and specs, those spaces calling for it should be ground and polished concrete. There is no page A6.11.
